Job summary

Simmons First National Corporation seeks an enterprise operations leader to head deposits and payments operations. You will oversee end-to-end performance, controls, resiliency, and continuous improvement across processing platforms and vendors.

The role partners with LOBs, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Finance to deliver scalable, customer-centric operations aligned with regulatory expectations and growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, MBA or related advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in deposit, payments, or banking operations
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles managing multi-function operations teams
• Dynamic experience across deposit and payment processing, fraud operations and disputes, customer onboarding and services, and contact centre operations

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large, multi-disciplinary operations organization with strong leadership development and accountability.
• Provides executive-level oversight for all deposit and payment processing activities, ensuring accuracy, resiliency, and capacity.
• First-line ownership of BSA/AML and financial crimes controls across deposits and payments, including CIP and KYC.
• Operational support for CDD/EDD, including beneficial ownership and entity verification; escalate suspicious activity.
• Oversee debit/credit card, ATM, branch cash, and vault operations for consistency and reliability.
• Lead 1LoD for transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, and customer remediation.
• Provide leadership over contact centers servicing deposits, card/payment, loans, and digital inquiries.
• Design and evolve a scalable operating model to support growth and regulatory expectations.
