Job summary

Simmons Bank seeks an enterprise operations leader to head Deposits & Payments Operations. You will drive end-to-end performance, risk, and scalability, coordinating with LOBs, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Finance to deliver efficient, customer-centric operations compliant with regulations.

As 1LoD accountable executive, you will oversee card, ATM, branch, and digital touchpoints, ensuring resilient processing, fraud prevention, and continuous improvement aligned with growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Understanding of banking regulations affecting deposits & payments.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary operations with accountability for risk and controls.
• Ability to design scalable operating models for growth and digital adoption.
• Experience with vendor management, platform modernization, and resiliency planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large, multi-disciplinary operations organization with emphasis on leadership development, succession planning, and performance management.
• Oversee all deposit and payment processing activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, resiliency, and capacity across platforms and vendors.
• Manage 1LoD controls for anti-money laundering and financial crimes, including CIP and KYC procedures and CDD/EDD support.
• Provide leadership over contact centers servicing deposits, cards, payments, loans, and digital inquiries.
• Develop and monitor key risk indicators, documentation, and exam readiness for deposit, payments, and fraud operations.
