Job summary

Simmons Bank is seeking an executive leader to oversee deposits and payments operations, ensuring end-to-end performance, risk management, and scalable processes. You will partner with LOB leaders, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Finance to deliver efficient, compliant operations aligned with growth.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in banking ops with 5+ in senior leadership, strong regulatory knowledge, and a track record of cost optimization and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in deposit, payments, or banking operations.
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles managing multi-function operations teams.
• Dynamic experience across deposit and payment processing, fraud operations and disputes, customer onboarding and services, and contact centre operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large, multi-disciplinary operations organization with emphasis on leadership development, succession planning, and performance management.
• Oversee deposit and payment processing activities ensuring accuracy, timeliness, resiliency, and capacity across platforms and vendors.
• Oversee 1LoD controls for anti-financial crimes and customer onboarding programs across channels.
• Support Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) including ownership verification and SAR processes.
• Oversee debit/credit card, ATM, branch cash, and vault operations for consistency and reliability.
• Lead 1LoD for transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, disputes, and customer remediation.
• Manage consumer, private banking and small business contact centers handling deposits, cards, loans and inquiries.
• Design scalable operating model supporting growth, digital adoption, and regulatory expectations.
