Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in line with company values and safe lifting procedures.
• Drive and teach the basic P's of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure high-level customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses and knowledge of merchandise/installation.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing and department organization.
• Communicate SOP directions and changes to associates.
• Operate forklift certification testing and inventory communication.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections; process transactions at POS.
• Present how-to classes and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Greet customers, stock displays, and create price tags/signs.
