Anchor Point Management Group is seeking a Department Manager in Speedway, IN to lead a high-energy team. You will drive guest experiences, coach staff, and manage daily operations with a focus on quality, speed, and safety.

Job Title: Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire Team Members to deliver top‑tier service and unforgettable fan experiences.
• Coach, train, and develop your team—building an all‑star lineup every day.
• Own execution across operations, from guest engagement to quality, speed, and accuracy.
• Champion a clean, safe, and compliant environment across all areas.
• Bring energy to in‑house promotions, local marketing, and fan engagement initiatives.
• Direct staffing, succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, and ongoing development of department team members.
• Develop direct reports by creating action/development plans.
• Coordinate with other Department Managers on hiring decisions to ensure growth opportunities.
• Create weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines.
• Implement incentive programs and contests for the department.
• Provide regular performance feedback and timely performance appraisals.
• Administer merit increase processes and assist in performance management.
• Utilize support teams/subject matter experts when necessary.
• Coach and provide follow‑up to ensure execution of service standards and guest experience.
• Maintain current state required training and permits for all team members.
• Identify techniques to attract new guests and manage the guest comment program.
• Use Guest Experience Management program to provide feedback and improve satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health standards.
• Monitor department equipment, report repair needs, and ensure timely repairs.
• Analyze performance metrics (GEM, QSCs, audits, P&L) and create action plans to address issues.
• Oversee food cost, labor results, inventory, and financial metrics (P&L) for the department.
• Manage bar beverage cost, labor results, inventory, and cost‑tool compliance.
