Salary Range: $18.00 - $27.40 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Lead and inspire Team Members to deliver top‑tier service and unforgettable fan experiences.
• Coach, train, and develop your team—building an all‑star lineup every day.
• Own execution across operations, from guest engagement to quality, speed, and accuracy.
• Champion a clean, safe, and compliant environment across all areas.
• Bring energy to in‑house promotions, local marketing, and fan engagement initiatives.

Department Manager Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for staffing, succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, and ongoing development of Department Team Members.
• Maintain department staffing guidelines determined at each Period Business Review.
• Administer WCT training and ensure department meets training store certification.
• Develop direct reports by creating action/development plans.
• Coordinate with other Department Managers on hiring decisions.
• Create weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines.
• Implement incentive programs and contests.
• Provide regular performance feedback and conduct performance appraisals.
• Administer semi‑annual merit increase process.
• Aid General Manager with coaching on performance management procedures.
• Oversee MIT training during training weeks.
• Use support teams/subject matter experts when necessary.
• Coach and follow up with direct reports on service standards and guest experience.
• Conduct departmental meetings to communicate successes and new procedures.
• Ensure current state‑required training and permits for all team members.
• Develop tactics to attract new guests.
• Manage the restaurant’s Guest Comment program and handle food quality complaints.
• Use GEM program for feedback and adjustments to enhance guest satisfaction.

Quality Operations

• Facilitate and ensure adherence to new food product rollouts.
• Ensure all team members meet quality standards, recipe adherence, and portioning.
• Communicate with food vendors and hold them accountable.
• Ensure menu specs and wall charts are utilized.
• Identify areas of opportunity and drive action plans.
• Conduct administrative manager functions such as invoices, inventory, and end‑of‑day procedures.
• Monitor department equipment and report repair needs.
• Operate consistently with Board of Health and food safety practices.
• Correct BOH and Steritech issues immediately.

Sales & Profits

• Responsible for overall food cost and operating within the company defined variance.
• Maintain overall labor results within SPLH targets.
• Order all food and paper products and maintain inventory levels.
• Establish daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly projections.
• Understand P&L statement and create action plans for problem areas.
