Wingmen V Llc in Speedway, IN is seeking a Department Manager to lead a dynamic team delivering high-energy guest experiences and top-tier service.

You will coach staff, manage schedules, ensure food safety and quality, and drive guest satisfaction while controlling costs and maintaining safety standards. This role offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced entertainment venue environment.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and responsible alcohol service.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire Team Members to deliver top-tier service and unforgettable fan experiences.
• Coach, train, and develop your team—building an all-star lineup every day.
• Own execution across operations, from guest engagement to quality, speed, and accuracy.
• Champion a clean, safe, and compliant environment across all areas.
• Bring energy to in-house promotions, local marketing, and fan engagement initiatives.
• Direct staffing, succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, and ongoing development of department team members.
• Develop direct reports by creating action/development plans.
• Coordinate with other Department Managers on hiring decisions to ensure growth opportunities.
• Create weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines.
• Implement incentive programs and contests for the department.
• Provide regular performance feedback and timely performance appraisals.
• Administer merit increase processes and assist in performance management.
• Utilize support teams/subject matter experts when necessary.
• Coach and provide follow-up to ensure execution of service standards and guest experience.
• Maintain current state required training and permits for all team members.
• Identify techniques to attract new guests and manage the guest comment program.
• Use Guest Experience Management program to provide feedback and improve satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health standards.
• Monitor department equipment, report repair needs, and ensure timely repairs.
• Analyze performance metrics (GEM, QSCs, audits, P&L) and create action plans to address issues.
• Oversee food cost, labor results, inventory, and financial metrics (P&L) for the department.
• Manage bar beverage cost, labor results, inventory, and cost-tool compliance.
