Job summary

Floor & Decor in Texas is seeking a trainer for Product Sales Specialists to ensure a positive shopping experience through exceptional customer service and strong product knowledge.

You will lead the team, oversee merchandising, pricing, and promotions, and guide associates in presenting our offerings. Requires customer service/sales experience and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in accordance with company values and policies.
• Lead product sales specialists and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrate understanding of merchandise and installation.
• Sell and present products, pricing, and promotions effectively.
• Complete product specialist certification courses and training.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with selections.
• Process checkout, refunds, and exchanges per guidelines.
• Stock, tag, and price merchandise; create price signs.
• Communicate SOP changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Operate forklift proficiency testing and inventory communication.
