Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to oversee a store department, ensure accurate inventory, price changes, and clean, well-merchandised displays. You will deliver excellent customer service, coach team members, and coordinate with store operations to maintain high standards.

The role requires retail experience, strong communication, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities to drive sales and a superior shopping experience for our rural communities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail experience with knowledge of a specific department.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly.
• Demonstrated adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address issues quickly.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee scanning outs, inventory management, recovery, price changes and planogram sets.
• Maintain department cleanliness and signage per indoor merchandising guide.
• Provide friendly, proactive internal and external support to customers and colleagues.
• Handle front-end tasks and assist with transactions or loadouts as needed.
• Operate retail equipment such as handheld devices, ladders and forklifts.
