Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to supervise and optimize activities within a department. You will supervise scanning outs, inventory, price changes, planogram sets, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety for a positive shopping experience.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, teamwork, and flexibility to support front-end operations and cross-training across departments in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail experience in a department role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen, ask questions, and respond clearly.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.
• Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented approach.
• Comfort navigating computer systems to assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the merchandising guide to maintain displays and signage.
• Monitor inventory with regular stock counts and replenishment.
• Oversee the recovery process to keep the department neat and appealing.
• Coordinate price changes with teams to update labels and signage.
• Implement playbook features and planogram sets per guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the department.
• Provide customer service and assist with inquiries and product location.
• Support front-end operations and process transactions or loadouts when needed.
