Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to launch and lead its new Denver office. This role will build the local practice, recruit and mentor engineers, and deliver critical industrial and process facilities projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Colorado PE or be able to obtain licensure, with strong experience in power distribution, short circuit studies, and multi-discipline coordination. You will report to leadership and grow with the office.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) with Colorado registration or ability to obtain.
• Experience leading electrical design for industrial or process-driven facilities.
• Desire to learn and grow into the new Denver office leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local point of contact for regional clients as the office grows.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and designers in the Denver office.
• Work with other offices to staff and deliver projects.
• Lead electrical design from basis of design through construction documents and startup.
