Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to establish its new Denver office and build the local practice. You will lead and mentor engineers, coordinate with existing offices, and grow the team as the office scales.

The role focuses on designing electrical systems for industrial and process facilities, overseeing projects from concept through construction, and sealing engineering drawings as the Engineer of Record. Colorado license preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) with Colorado registration or ability to obtain it.
• Experience leading electrical design for industrial, semiconductor, life sciences, or other process-driven facilities.
• Desire to learn and grow into the new role.

Responsibilities

• Build the Denver office by serving as local point of contact for clients in the region.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and designers as the office grows.
• Work with firm’s other offices to staff and deliver projects.
• Design power distribution for industrial facilities, including low- and medium-voltage distribution, motor controls, lighting, and standby generation.
• Lead electrical design from basis of design through construction documents and startup.
• Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record.
