Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to establish and lead our new Denver office, delivering power distribution and control system design for industrial, semiconductor, life sciences, and process-driven facilities.

You will build the local team, liaise with regional clients, and coordinate with other offices while guiding projects from basis of design through construction; CO-registered or eligible to become registered is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) with Colorado registration or ability to obtain it.
• Experience leading electrical design for industrial, semiconductor, life sciences, or other process-driven facilities.
• Desire to learn and grow into the new role.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to build a Denver office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local point of contact for clients in the region.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and designers as the office grows.
• Work with the firm's other offices to staff and deliver projects.
• Design power distribution for industrial and critical facilities, including low- and medium-voltage distribution, motor controls, lighting, standby generation, and fire alarm.
• Perform and review short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Lead electrical design from basis of design through construction documents, construction administration, and startup.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs.
• Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record.
