Job summary

Confident Search Consultants is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to establish and grow its Denver office. The role centers on building a local electrical practice for industrial, semiconductor, and life sciences facilities, with leadership responsibilities as the office expands.

You will design power distribution, oversee short circuit and arc flash studies, and coordinate with multi-discipline teams to deliver projects from concept to startup in the Denver area.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) with Colorado registration or ability to obtain it.
• Experience leading electrical design for industrial, semiconductor, life sciences, or process-driven facilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local point of contact for clients in the region.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and designers as the office grows.
• Work with other offices to staff and deliver projects.
• Design power distribution for industrial facilities (low- and medium-voltage, motor controls, lighting, standby generation, fire alarm).
• Perform and review short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Lead electrical design from basis of design through construction documents, construction administration, and startup.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs.
• Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record.
