Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search is assisting a client in Denver with hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to establish and grow their new Denver office.

The role focuses on leading the electrical design for industrial facilities and coordinating with process, mechanical, and controls teams. The successful candidate will be licensed in Electrical Engineering (Colorado preferred) or able to obtain licensure, and will build the local practice by hiring and mentoring engineers and designers, while

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) with Colorado registration or ability to obtain it.
• Experience leading electrical design for industrial, semiconductor, life sciences, or process-driven facilities.
• Desire to learn and grow into the new role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local point of contact for clients in the region and build the Denver office.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and designers as the office grows.
• Staff and deliver projects with other firm offices.
• Design power distribution for industrial/critical facilities, including LV/MV distribution, motor controls, lighting, standby generation, and fire alarm.
• Lead electrical design from basis of design through construction documents, construction admin, and startup.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs.
• Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record.
