Job summary

WSP is seeking a Bridge Inspection Project Manager/Team Leader based in Denver to lead the Mountain/Pacific Northwest Region Bridge Inspection Group. The role includes managing complex inspection projects, budgeting, coordinating with clients, and growing the regional program through business development.

You will apply NBIS/NHI/FHWA certifications, supervise staff and subcontractors, ensure QA/QC, and maintain safety standards on field inspections across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineering licensure active in the United States.
• 10+ years in NBIS bridge inspection with transportation clients.
• NBIS Certified Bridge Inspection Team Leader with up-to-date credentials.
• NHI/FHWA fracture critical inspection techniques certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and strategic leadership for the bridge inspection discipline and function.
• Lead large, complex bridge inspection projects, manage budgets, track hours/expenses, and supervise staff.
• Pursue and develop bridge inspection business within the Mountain/Pacific Northwest Region.
• Lead contract negotiations, presentations, and meetings with clients.
• Support long-term strategy, growth, and pipeline development for Bridge Inspection work.
• Ensure profitable project performance and adherence to QA/QC and safety policies.
• Mentor staff and provide performance guidance to team members.
