Job summary

WSP is seeking a Bridge Inspection Project Manager/Team Leader to lead the Mountain/Pacific Northwest Region team from our Denver area base with flexibility to work from Utah, Arizona, Idaho, or Montana offices. The role includes managing inspections to NBIS standards, business development, and coordinating with clients and regulators.

The position requires extensive NBIS experience, PE licensure, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution is required.
• Professional Engineering Licensure is required.
• 10+ years of experience in bridge inspection (NBIS) with transportation clients.
• NBIS Certified Bridge Inspection Team Leader with up‑to‑date certifications.
• NHI/FHWA Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and strategic leadership for the bridge inspection discipline.
• Lead larger‑scale, complex bridge inspection projects with budgeting and scheduling oversight.
• Pursue and develop bridge inspection business and client relationships within the region.
• Lead contract negotiations, presentations, and meetings.
• Support long‑term strategy and pipeline development for bridge inspection work.
