Lane & Associates Family Dentistry in Durham, NC is seeking an experienced Treatment Coordinator to enhance the patient experience in our Oral Surgery and Orthodontics office. You will greet patients, manage multi-line calls, schedule appointments, review treatment plans, and explain financial options.

You will verify insurance, collect payments, update demographics in Denticon, and collaborate with doctors to keep schedules full and patients informed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental office, especially with Oral Surgery and Orthodontics.
• Experience as a Treatment Coordinator, Dental Receptionist, or similar dental administrative role.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and common dental procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with doctors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providing a warm, welcoming, and professional experience.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
• Coordinate patient appointments to maintain productive provider schedules.
• Check patients in and out with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Present and review treatment plans with patients, explaining care and financial options.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility and assist patients with benefits.
• Collect payments and follow established financial policies.
