Job summary

Lane & Associates Family Dentistry/NCOSO is seeking a Treatment Coordinator in Durham, NC, to enhance the patient experience and support practice success. You will manage scheduling, verify benefits, present treatment plans, and maintain accurate records with HIPAA compliance.

Role requires dental office experience, strong communication, and detail-oriented organization. A high school diploma or GED is required, with opportunities to grow within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental office, especially with Oral Surgery and Orthodontics.
• Experience as a Treatment Coordinator, Dental Receptionist, or similar dental administrative role.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and common dental procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• The ability to work effectively with both doctors and team members.
• A positive, professional, and dependable demeanor.
• High School Diploma and/or GED.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patients with a warm, professional experience.
• Manage a multi-line phone system and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate patient appointments to maintain productive provider schedules.
• Check patients in and out with attention to detail.
• Present and review treatment plans along with financial options.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with understanding benefits.
• Collect payments and follow established financial policies.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance data in Denticon.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records following HIPAA.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
