The role focuses on a seamless patient journey and collaboration with doctors to deliver exceptional care. The ideal candidate has dental office experience, strong communication, and attention to detail, with a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental office administration, preferably with Oral Surgery or Orthodontics.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and common procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with doctors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary patient contact, providing a warm, professional experience.
• Manage multi-line phone system, schedule/confirm appointments.
• Coordinate patient appointments to optimize provider schedules.
• Check patients in/out with professionalism and accuracy.
• Present and review treatment plans and financial options with patients.
• Support treatment acceptance by communicating value of care.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with benefits.
• Collect payments and follow established financial policies.
• Enter/update patient demographics and insurance in Denticon.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and HIPAA compliance.
• Keep reception/waiting area clean, organized, welcoming.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to enhance patient experience.
