Job summary

Mesa Grand Dental Group + Mesa Grand Kids' Dentistry and Orthodontics seeks a capable dental operations leader to train staff, manage patient flow, and uphold infection control standards. You will implement learning plans, integrate specialty assistants, and ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state regulations while maintaining supplies within budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state-mandated certification/licensure (e.g. coronal polish, x-ray exposure).
• Associates degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited college/technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as journals, manuals, and safety rules.
• Maintain compliance with State and Federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).
• Direct the work of others and act as a team leader to achieve goals.
• Handle and maintain confidential employee records and compensation data.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach dental assistants to maximize performance.
• Manage patient flow to optimize the patient and dentist experience.
• Perform duties per state dental functions.
• Develop the assistant team through learning plans and skill expansion.
• Integrate specialty dental assistants into the team.
• Oversee infection control, sterilization, and CDC-aligned processes.
• Maintain dental supplies within budget and budgetary constraints.
• Educate team on maintenance procedures and timely execution.
