Job summary

You will oversee infection control, maintain supplies, and ensure compliance with CDC guidelines and state regulations while fostering a positive, efficient clinic environment that puts patient comfort first.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with state-mandated training.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret professional manuals and rules.
• Demonstrates leadership and teamwork to achieve goals.
• Maintains strict compliance with OSHA, HIPAA and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach all other dental assistants to perform at their best.
• Manage patient flow to maximize patient experience and dentist efficiency.
• Perform duties per state dental allowable functions.
• Develop the dental assistant team through learning plans and skills expansion.
• Integrate specialty dental assistants into the team effectively.
• Oversee infection control, sterilization, and CDC guideline adherence.
• Maintain supplies within budget and ensure timely maintenance procedures.
