Sundance Dental Group is hiring a Dental Assistant leader to train and coach the team, optimize patient flow, and support the dentist in delivering high-quality care. You will develop the team’s skills and ensure a clean, compliant clinical environment.

The role emphasizes team development, infection control, and effective resource management within a busy practice setting in Buckeye, AZ. Experience in dental assisting leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; state-required certification/licensure as applicable.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from college/technical school or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret business documents, journals, manuals, rules and regulations.
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).
• Ability to direct and lead a team to achieve goals and maintain confidentiality of records.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach all dental assistants to perform at their best.
• Manage patient flow to maximize patient experience and create efficient daily workflow for the dentist.
• Perform duties per state dental allowable functions.
• Develop the assistant team through learning plans and expanded clinical skills.
• Integrate specialty dental assistants into the team effectively.
• Oversee infection control, sterilization and disinfection per CDC guidelines.
• Maintain inventory and manage dental practice supplies within budget.
