Sundance Dental Group is seeking an experienced dental assistant supervisor to lead a team and coordinate patient flow while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You will oversee infection control, supplies, and staff development across the practice, guiding colleagues toward high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or certificate from an accredited college or technical school.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as manuals, regs, journals.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA and other regulations.
• Ability to lead others and work as a team toward goals.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and compensation.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach all other dental assistants to perform at their best.
• Manage patient flow to maximize patient experience and dentist efficiency.
• Perform duties per state dental allowable functions.
• Develop the dental assistant team through learning plans and skill expansion.
• Integrate specialty dental assistants into the team effectively.
• Manage infection control, sterilization, and disinfection per CDC guidelines; keep a clean, sterile workplace.
• Maintain general and specialty clinical supplies within budget.
• Educate team on basic maintenance and timely maintenance procedures.
