Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a dedicated dental assistant-leader in Glendale, AZ to train and coach the team, manage patient flow, and ensure high-quality care. The role emphasizes adherence to state dental regulations, infection control, and collaborative team growth within the practice.

Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile environment, coordinating supply usage, and supporting clinicians with clinical technology and training plans. The position offers weekend shift premiums where applicable.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret documents such as journals, manuals, safety rules, and regulations.
• Direct the work of others and lead teams to achieve goals.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc).
• Protect confidentiality of employee records and compensation information.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach dental assistants to perform at their best.
• Manage patient flow to optimize patient experience and dentist efficiency.
• Perform duties according to state dental assistant scope of practice.
• Develop the team through learning plans and expanding clinical skills.
• Integrate specialty dental assistants into the team effectively.
• Oversee infection control, sterilization, and disinfection per CDC guidelines.
