Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or related field preferred; equivalent combo may be considered.
• Minimum of three to five years of healthcare, dental, or clinic operations experience.
• Experience managing clinic operations, staff, workflows, and performance metrics.
• Ability to analyze operational and financial data to improve performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and expansion of dental services.
• Develop strategies to increase patient access and growth of services.
• Identify opportunities for new services, locations, partnerships, and models of care.
• Develop operational plans for new programs, providers, equipment, and locations.
• Monitor community needs to identify expansion opportunities.
• Establish KPIs for patient access, visits, productivity, revenue, quality, and growth.
• Collaborate with leaders to set short- and long-term goals for dental services.
• Promote integration of oral health with primary care.
• Oversee day-to-day dental clinic operations and workflows.
• Maintain efficient systems, policies, and procedures to support high-quality care.
• Ensure scheduling maximizes access and productivity.
• Monitor appointment availability, no-shows, and patient flow.
• Identify barriers and implement improvements for efficiency and satisfaction.
• Coordinate facility, equipment, supplies, and tech needs.
• Maintain inventory and ensure supplies are available.
• Work with vendors and departments to support operational needs.
• Monitor department productivity, patient volume, charges, and expenses.
• Develop and monitor budgets; improve financial sustainability.
• Address barriers to performance and collaborate with leadership.
• Develop financial projections and plans for expansion.
• Ensure proper documentation, coding, and billing processes.
• Review data and prepare leadership reports.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
• Develop staffing models for efficient operations.
• Provide leadership and professional development for staff.
• Maintain a positive, patient-centered work environment.
• Set clear performance expectations and address concerns.
• Support communication among staff and departments.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Promote patient-centered experience and access for underserved populations.
• Collaborate with dental director and organizational leaders.
• Represent dental program in meetings and partnerships.
• Foster relationships with community organizations and partners.
