Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Practice Manager of Operations in Calabash, NC to partner with the Doctor, lead the team, and drive outstanding patient care. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, staff development, and a culture of service.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree or 3 - 5 years’ leadership experience (in a professional office, hospitality, retail, banking, medical, etc.)
• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
• Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies
• Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
• Trustworthy; maintain patient confidentiality and team ethics
• PHI access and HIPAA training required; protect PHI and maintain data safeguards

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business partner to the Doctor, ensuring the office delivers unparalleled support and service to both Doctor and patients
• Guide your team by focusing on continuous improvement and develop masters of their roles
• Set the standard for exceptional customer service and teamwork as a key relationship builder
• Oversee daily operations including filing patient claims, managing payments, resolving patient issues, scheduling, and inventory tracking
• Select, onboard, train, coach, and retain world-class team members
• Review and analyze business reports to identify missed opportunities and implement best practices
