Job summary

Hershey Plaza Dental Central in Bloomington, IL, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Practice Manager of Operations. You will lead day-to-day operations as a trusted business partner to the Doctor, guiding teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

The PMO role emphasizes servant leadership, scheduling alignment, and quarterly/annual financial planning. Growth opportunities include CE planning, training, and cross-team mentorship.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required or 3–5 years’ leadership experience in a professional office, hospitality, retail, banking, medical, etc.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Trustworthy; maintain patient confidentiality and team ethics.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and complete PMO training to develop technical, commitment, and leadership skills.
• Set and pursue annual business goals and personal development goals (technical, commitment, personality).
• Support Doctors and teams through servant leadership and regular meetings.
• Assist with onboarding and ongoing training for new team members.
• Collaborate with Doctors to identify skills needed for open positions and proper selection within the practice.
