Job summary

Willamette Dental Group is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to supervise daily operations across one or more offices in the Portland area. The role supports scheduling, policy enforcement, and cost efficiency while ensuring HIPAA compliance and a safe work environment.

The position reports to the Director of Operations and requires a healthcare administration background with experience in a medical/dental setting. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field.
• Experience in a medical/dental office environment is preferred.
• Strong supervisory and scheduling abilities; ability to implement policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily operations of one or more dental offices.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed and office costs are controlled.
• Arrange staff coverage and support Practice Manager in scheduling and budgets.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safe working environment.
• Support patient flow, records handling, and issue resolution.
