Job summary

Lightwave Dental Management LLC is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to support daily operations and staff leadership in our dental practice. You will help recruit, train, and develop team members while ensuring quality patient care and adherence to practice standards.

You will also manage HR/payroll tasks, support budgeting and audits, and engage in marketing efforts to attract new patients. A collaborative leader who can drive results is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum one year of experience in a dental or related field.
• 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience in a dental or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Assist Practice Manager with day-to-day operations and staff coordination.
• Foster strong working relationships among staff and address concerns.
• Monitor performance metrics, budgets, and production expectations.
• Respond to patient and doctor needs and inquiries promptly.
• Ensure quality dental care and readiness of practice areas.
• Handle HR and payroll-related documents, including new hires and terminations.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and daily huddles to improve communication.
• Assist in marketing and practice promotion activities.
• Serve as on-site HIPAA contact and assist with audits.
