Specialty Dental Brands is seeking a Patient Coordinator to ensure smooth scheduling, preparation, and follow-up for patient appointments. You will support patients throughout their care experience and facilitate communication between providers and patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college coursework or healthcare-related education is preferred.
• Experience in dental/healthcare scheduling is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all patient appointments with accurate time allocation and operatory needs.
• Confirm appointments are properly spaced with provider availability.
• Coordinate pre-appointment and follow-up visits as directed by the clinical team.
• Contact patients to confirm appointments and provide prep and follow-up instructions.
• Communicate preparation instructions, financial expectations, and timelines clearly.
• Address patient questions in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Ensure documentation (consents, histories, referrals, imaging) is collected and uploaded.
• Verify referrals and obtain insurance authorizations as needed.
• Maintain the appointment calendar and report conflicts or changes.
• Monitor and reorder supplies to support daily operations.
• Assist patients at check-in/check-out as necessary.
• Support administrative projects during absences or high-volume periods.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
