Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a Patient Navigator for the Adams School of Dentistry Office of Clinical Operations. The role coordinates appointments for pre-doctoral and hygiene clinics, communicates with students, patients and staff, and ensures smooth clinic operations.

Experience with EPIC templates and medical billing is a plus. The position may require full-time or part-time commitment with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and efficient clinic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, cancel, modify, and reconcile appointments for Pre-doctoral and Hygiene clinics; respond to requests using In-Basket and providers’ work queue; update and distribute appointment information to patients, students and staff.
