Jimmy Jazz is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to ensure efficient scheduling and accurate patient data entry in a dental practice. You will handle inquiries, coordinate referrals, and assist with billing statements to support smooth daily operations.

Applicants should have dental office experience, Dentrix proficiency, and strong communication skills to deliver excellent patient service and maintain precise records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a dental office strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Dentrix PM software for scheduling and billing.
• Solid dental terminology and procedures knowledge.
• General administrative practices and data entry skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong phone etiquette.
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Customer service focused with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and create a warm atmosphere.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed.
• Verify benefits and eligibility for dental insurance.
• Submit predeterminations and pre-authorizations.
• Review and post EOBs to patient accounts accurately.
• Identify and resolve insurance payment discrepancies.
• Understand dental coding and payer requirements.
• Assist patients with forms and information.
• Prepare charts and daily staff schedules.
• Update patient records and treatment notes.
• Schedule follow-ups and provide reminders.
• Coordinate with insurers on co-payments.
• Verify payment methods and collect payments.
• Perform general office duties to support operations.
