Job summary

Johnson Family Dental is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who will be the first person our patients meet, making them feel welcomed, informed and supported from check-in to payment options. You’ll coordinate scheduling, verify insurance and guide patients through treatment plans with clarity and empathy.

You’ll work with a friendly dental team to create a smooth, personalized patient experience and help patients understand their care and financial options while keeping operations running

Qualifications

• 1+ year in dental/healthcare/customer-service preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for helping people.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Positive, professional, patient-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Greeting: Create a warm, welcoming environment and make every patient feel valued.
• Guiding: Support patients through check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification and questions.
• Treatment Support: Explain treatment recommendations, payment options and financing.
• Patient Experience: Build trusting relationships to make visits comfortable and stress-free.
• Communication: Answer phones and clearly communicate with patients, doctors and team.
• Scheduling: Maintain an efficient schedule and maximize patient care opportunities.
