Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare admin cert is a plus.
• Experience as receptionist or in customer service, preferably healthcare.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly when they arrive at the dental practice.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with staff.
• Maintain patient records in the practice management system with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Verify and update patient insurance information; collect co-pays and other charges.
• Answer patient inquiries by phone, email, or in person; explain services and policies.
• Coordinate with hygienists, assistants and dentists to manage patient flow.
