Job summary

Western Dental Services, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Indio, CA.

This role serves as the key liaison for patients, greeting them warmly and guiding them through our office, treatment options, and payment plans to ensure a seamless experience. The PCC will coordinate appointments, explain treatments and insurance coverage, and maintain accurate patient records while upholding privacy and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of customer service or sales experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Denticon or Dentrix preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients and staff; detail-oriented with financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a timely, professional and engaging manner.
• Maintain a productive daily schedule and schedule future appointments in coordination with patients and dental staff.
• Provide patient consultations and communicate information about recommended treatments, cost of service, insurance coverage and payment options.
• Contact patients to follow up on visits and to build lasting patient relationsships.
• Ensure compliance with health, privacy, and safety regulations.
• Travel as needed for training and to perform job functions.
