Job summary

PDS Health is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee (OMT) to learn and eventually run a PDS-supported dental office. The program combines structured curriculum, on-the-job practice, and development meetings to enable independent office management within 4–6 months after completion.

The role emphasizes culture, staff development, budget control, and delivering the Perfect Patient Experience across Front and Back Office teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of related work experience in operational management.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; travel to multiple offices.
• Travel to multiple offices per day; reliable transportation required.
• Alternate transportation acceptable if license/insurance not available.

Responsibilities

• Model company culture, values, and best practices.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and coach staff for proper fit.
• Resolve staff and patient issues with timely solutions.
• Execute operational model with Owner Dentist to meet office goals.
• Drive revenue and profit growth year over year.
• Manage expenses to hit monthly goals and budgets.
• Demonstrate cash management and accounting proficiency.
• Develop team and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship for improvements.
• Communicate openly with supervisors to build trust and address issues.
