Job summary

PDS Health is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee to learn the skills and company knowledge needed to independently run a financially viable PDS supported dental office. The OMT develops through the OM Development Program with structured curriculum, on-the-job practice and development meetings, aiming to manage a team in 4–6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of related work experience in operational management.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; license verification at hire.
• Must travel to multiple offices daily; reliable transportation required.
• Alternate transportation acceptable if licensed to travel for daily duties.
• Travel may be planned or unplanned and subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Modeling company culture, values, standards and practices; learn to foster a PDS environment.
• Assess, hire and retain right-fit team members through training and coaching.
• Resolve staff and patient issues with timely, effective solutions.
• Execute the PDS Operational Model with consistency with the Owner Dentist.
• Drive year over year revenue and profit growth.
• Manage expenses to achieve monthly goals and budget.
• Show proficiency in cash management and accounting protocols.
• Lead team development to deliver the Perfect Patient Experience.
• Deliver leadership, coaching and mentoring to staff to improve performance.
• Maintain open communication with direct supervisors; foster trust-based relations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies.
• Report weekly to Regional Manager on progress and goals.
• Develop office success plans and protocols for manager absences.
• Perform other duties to improve team development outcomes.
