United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking a Dental Supervisor to oversee Dental Assistants and Dental Receptionists across all sites, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality service. This exempt role reports to the Health Center Manager and emphasizes adherence to UHC policies and patient satisfaction.

The Dental Supervisor will lead provider schedules, coordinate staff development, assist with recruiting, and ensure DA/RDA coverage when needed, while maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• RDA California License or DA Certificate required.
• Lifesaving Certification required.
• Driver's License required.
• 2 years supervisory or management experience in a dental setting preferred.
• Knowledge of dental insurances and billing preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Community health centers mission and role understanding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise Dental Assistants and Dental Receptionists.
• Lead scheduling and patient flow to ensure efficient operations.
• Coach, train, and develop staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist with recruitment for dental staff positions.
• Coordinate DA/RDA functions and provide coverage as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in all patient interactions.
• Attend department meetings and participate in program activities.
