Job summary

PDS Health is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee to gain understanding of the skills and company knowledge needed to independently run a financially viable PDS-supported dental office. You will progress through the OM Development Program with support from your supervisor and structured curriculum.

The role aims to empower you to manage a dental office in 4–6 months following program completion, focusing on leadership, staff development, and delivering the Perfect Patient Experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of related work experience in operational management.
• Operations Manager Trainee must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Travel to multiple offices per day with reliable transportation.
• Alternate transportation acceptable if license/insurance unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Model company culture and values to promote PDS culture daily.
• Hire, train, supervise, coach and retain team members.
• Investigate and resolve staff and patient issues with timely solutions.
• Execute the PDS Operational Model with Owner Dentist collaboration.
• Drive year-over-year revenue and profit growth.
• Manage expenses to meet monthly goals and budget.
• Show proficiency in cash management and accounting protocols.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to develop a high-performing team.
• Keep commitments and maintain open communications with supervisors.
