Deer Creek Family Dental, supported by Heartland Dental, seeks a Business Assistant to join our front office team. You will greet patients, manage communications, and support scheduling and billing in a fast-paced dental environment.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration with clinicians to improve patient experience while leveraging Dentrix for daily tasks. Training and benefits are provided for growth within a stable, nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric dental front office.
• HIPAA training and PHI handling required.
• Dental insurance billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, and communications with patients/insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records management.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims; verify benefits.
• Post patient payments and process accounts receivable.
