Heartland Dental's Spring View Dental Care is seeking a Business Assistant to support the front office and coordinate patient flow in a fast-paced environment. You’ll greet patients, manage phones and email, schedule with Dentrix, process claims and payments, and work with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems, contributing to a collaborative team that puts patients first.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required; data safeguards must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, email; communicate with patients and insurers.
• Schedule and confirm appointments using Dentrix; coordinate multiple providers.
• Process insurance claims, verify benefits, and explain coverage.
• Post payments and manage accounts receivable; review treatment plan fees and options.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
