Job summary

SGA Dental is seeking an IT Support Technician to assist our dental practices with hardware, software, and network issues. You will work with the IT team to identify trends, track incidents, and resolve technical problems across Windows, AD, and Office environments.

The role requires at least one year in IT support, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel to practices as needed. Dental software experience is a big plus, and you’ll contribute to a proactive, user-focused support

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in an IT support organization with experience resolving root cause issues rather than just individual problems.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with users in technical or non-technical language.
• Experience with dental practice software is a huge plus.
• Must be self-motivated to learn and support new technologies across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Track all issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in real-time using the support ticketing system.
• Maintain accurate inventory of technology assets including hardware, software, and licensing.
• Perform general preventative maintenance on the computing infrastructure and software.
• Review user manuals and online resources to identify solutions to complex issues; escalate when necessary.
• Provide Windows, Office and AD support; assist with printers, scanners, and phone systems; collaborate with senior IT staff.
• Travel to dental practices as needed; work to resolve issues on first call when possible; document resolutions for future reference.
