The role emphasizes greeting patients, managing phones, scheduling, claims processing, and aiding in the implementation of Heartland Dental systems to optimize office performance and patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced dental front-office settings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients at the door to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties including answering phones, checking mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records; schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims; verification of benefits and explanation of coverage.
• Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients; help implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.
