Heartland Dental in Lavon, TX is seeking a dedicated Business Assistant to support front office operations and patient flow. You’ll use Dentrix for scheduling, billing, and records, handle claims and insurance verifications, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize office efficiency.

The ideal candidate has experience in a dental setting or healthcare front desk, strong communication and organizational skills, and a positive team spirit.

Formación

• Experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI with HIPAA training and data safeguards.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, and insurance communications.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File and follow up on insurance claims, verify benefits and coverage.
• Post payments and manage accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
