Center for Cosmetic and Family Dentistry, a Heartland Dental office in Henderson, NV, is seeking a Dental Front Office Assistant/Business Assistant to join our team. The role involves greeting patients, managing front desk tasks, scheduling, billing, and coordinating with providers using Dentrix.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year front desk or medical/dental experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a proactive attitude.

Competenze

• 1+ years of experience working in a medical, optical, or dental front desk role
• 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to receive feedback and work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• HIPAA training and data safeguards awareness

Mansioni

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, email, and communications with patients and insurers
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records management
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers
• File insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits, and coverage explanations
• Post insurance and patient payments; process accounts receivable
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients
• Collaborate with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems
