Smile Design Countryside is seeking a Front Office Business Assistant to join our team. You’ll support front desk operations, manage scheduling with Dentrix, and assist with billing while upholding HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to PHI and HIPAA training required; protect PHI and data safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
• Manage front office duties: answer phones, mail/email, and communicate with patients and insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims; verify benefits and explanations of coverage.
• Post insurance and patient payments; process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.
