Job summary

Walnut Creek Modern Dentistry seeks a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with dentists, help patients understand treatment options, and secure timely commitments using available financial plans. You will educate patients, overcome objections, and support a perfect patient experience while keeping schedules productive.

Key duties include mastering the office systems, coordinating with clinicians, and ensuring compliance with policies while contributing to a positive team culture and patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Travel between offices may be required.
• Preferred: coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.

Responsibilities

• Models company culture, values, standards, and best practices based on We Believe Behavioral Framework.
• Gain a financial commitment from the patient to start the dentistry the Dentist is diagnosing.
• Executes the HC Handoff with clinicians on every exam patient.
• Becomes knowledgeable on available financial options to help patients start dentistry within their budget.
• Overcome patient objections to starting treatment.
• Obtain insurance pre-authorizations as needed.
• Ensure the office reflects the Comprehensive Care Model and external referrals.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings.
