Petaluma Modern Dentistry is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with dentists, educate patients on treatment options, and drive case acceptance. You will help patients navigate financial options and support a positive patient experience.

The role requires high school education, potential travel between offices, and a strong focus on communication and process efficiency. Competitive hourly compensation is offered with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Travel might be required between offices.
• Preferred: coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.

Responsibilities

• Model company culture, values, standards and best practices.
• Gain a financial commitment from patients to start recommended dentistry.
• Proficiently use the PDS system to assist patients and explain options.
• Execute HC handoff with clinicians on every exam.
• Be the SME on financial options to fit patient budgets.
• Overcome common patient objections to starting treatment.
• Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations when needed.
• Ensure the office exemplifies the Comprehensive Care Model.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings.
• Understand business imperatives and how role impacts metrics.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Support Mouth Body Connection and clinical excellence.
