San Marcos Modern Dentistry seeks a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with dentists, help patients choose and finance treatment, and keep the office’s schedule efficient. You will educate patients on treatment options, overcome objections, obtain pre-authorizations, and support a culture of PPE and Patients for Life.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and a patient-centric approach within a fast-paced dental practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Travel between offices may be required.
• Prefers coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance or business.
• Knowledge of office practices and patient insurances.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gains financial commitment from patients to start recommended dentistry.
• Explains available financial options and insurance pre-authorizations.
• Supports clinician handoffs and keeps schedules productive.
• Overcomes common patient objections to treatment.
• Maintains PPE and ensures a positive patient experience.
